While the entire village fears him and even “big tigers” (powerful people) go silent in his presence, he becomes as innocent as a small child (Pasodu) in front of his daughter.
2. The Joy of Her Birth
She mentions that when she was born, it was a dark, moonless night (Amavasya). However, the moment her father saw her face, his own face lit up like a bright full moon (Punnamantane). He was so overwhelmed with love that he treated his own chest as a cradle (Thottellu) to rock her to sleep.
